of tapered cylindrical form, each cast with elongated blades bordered by a band of confronted kui dragons, the flat top decorated with coiled dragon, the surface with green patina and reddish encrustation; together with a pair of lynch pins, each cast in the form of an elaborate feline mask, the bronze with brown patina (4)

Acquired in New York, 1980s.

Condition

The axle caps and the lynch pinsĀ are in overall good condition. The surface has been cleaned with traces of malachite and cuprite encrustation.
