Description

carved in low relief on one side with four figures under a wutong tree, the background with a scholar standing by a scroll atop a desk with another scholar adjacent to him, the foreground with two young boys frolicking and flying a kite, the reverse with an inscription in running script terminating in a seal mark, zhen, all within a pair of confronting kui dragons enclosing the rectangular panel

Condition

The overall condition is good. There is a scratch measuring approximately 0.8 cm running across one of the sides. There are also very minor scratches and general surface wear to the pendant. The actual colour is yellower than the catalogue illustration.
