Description

of compressed baluster form and oval section, the rounded sides supported on a pedestal foot, rising to angled shoulders and a waisted neck and mouth collared with a raised band, the foot flanked by rocky promontories issuing chrysanthemums and a blossoming prunus branch meandering across the front and reverse of the vase, all below a fitted cover with a knop carved in the form of a chilong crouching on its paws with its head turned back, the translucent stone of a pale celadon tone picked out with subtle icy streaks, wood stand
