Description
of circular form, the cover deftly carved with a spray of six lychees bearing leaves against a floral diaper ground, the fruits textured with various diapering patterns, including the wan symbol and chevron, the exterior of the box similarly decorated to the underside with a further spray issuing six lychees, the interior lacquered in dark brown
Condition
There is an age crack running around the exterior of the rim of the cover, as typical of this period. There is abrasion and losses to the black lacquer on the inner flange.
