Description
the ovoid body decorated with four rectangular panels below a band of ruyi-shaped cloud swirls bordering the shoulders, each panel with a green frame bordered with a thin red line and a small rectangle of 'basket-weave' motifs at each corner, enclosing a different coloured four-clawed dragon writhing sinuously next to a 'flaming pearl', a double-line border encircling the foot, the base with a recessed circular section
Condition
There is a burst air bubble with associated body lines of maximum approximately 1 cm under the glaze to the shoulder (within the panel with the lilac-coloured dragon). Apart from some typical iron spots and further burst bubbles, as well as expected wear to the surface and crackling of the glazes. The overall condition is otherwise very good.
