Description

  • porcelain
well potted with a compressed globular body supported on a slightly flared foot, surmounted by a broad cylindrical neck and a rounded mouthrim, covered overall with an olive-coloured glaze flecked with a fine yellow mist, the glaze stopping neatly above the foot, the recessed base incised with a six-character seal mark beneath a brown glaze, the rounded footing left unglazed and dressed in a brown wash, wood stand
