Description
of compressed baluster form and oval section, the rounded sides rising from a raised pedestal foot to rounded shoulders and a waisted neck, flanked in openwork by two single-horned chilong handles, all below a square-lipped rim, the translucent stone of a pale celadon-white tone, wood stand
Provenance
Christie's Hong Kong, 29th September 1992, lot 755 (part of a set of three).
Condition
There are a few minor nicks to the foot. The side not illustrated in the catalogue has three vertical veins, as well as some russet-brown inclusions that have been polished down, creating slight indentations. The actual colour is slightly yellower than the catalogue illustration.
