the compressed globular body rising from a splayed foot to an incurved mouthrim, the exterior decorated with four five-clawed dragons writhing sinuously with four soaring phoenix and cranes amidst ruyi-shaped cloud swirls, all below a double-line border encircling the rim, the body and foot separated with a line, the foot bordered with five ruyi-shaped cloud swirls above a double-line, the countersunk base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within double circles

Condition

The jar is in quite good condition, except for slight wear to the mouth rim and fine scratches to the body, which is rather typical and expected for its period.
