Description

  • gilt metal painted enamel
brightly painted with composite floral scrolls reserved on a yellow ground beneath a ruyi band, all below a band of floral cartouches alternating with dragon roundels, surmounted by a domed cover decorated with a floral medallion, with a matching tripod stand and warmer

Condition

Areas of restoration and over-painting visible to the finial of the cover, the spout of the teapot, the legs of the stand and the inner rim of the stand. Otherwise, the enamels in good general condition.
