the deep flaring sides rising from an angled recessed base to a broad everted rim, freely incised through the creamy-white slip with a large scaly winged dragon fish

This rare basin appears to have been broken in half, or possibly into three pieces, and restored. In addition there are several glaze firing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles, glaze pulls at the rim, glaze firing lines in particular to the interior base and rim, glaze discolouration and glaze runs.
