Description

  • stoneware
the shallow rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot to a widely flaring rim, freely carved to the interior with a leafy lotus scroll and covered overall in an ivory-white glaze, characteristically pooling in tear-drops to the exterior

Condition

The dish is in very good condition with the exception of minor glaze firing imperfections including iron spots, tiny blisters, a V-shaped pooling of glaze to the medallion and light glaze scratches.
