Description

  • lapis lazuli and wood stand
of rectangular form, carved to the front face with two deer in a rocky landscape with trees and lingzhi, the reverse inscribed and gilt with a Qianlong imperial poem, the stone of a dark blue tone with silvery-white inclusions, wood stand

Condition

The screen is in good condition with the exception of some tiny nibbles and nicks to the edges, a 10 x 5mm., rough flaw to the stone on the upper front left side, a shallow chip to the side of the neck of the lower deer, and two polished chips ( 2.5 x 3cm and 3.5 x 1.5cm) to the top right and bottom right corners.
