the oval pebble carved with two ferocious dragons writhing amongst dense scrolling clouds in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the stone of a creamy-yellow tone suffused with vermillion red inclusions

Condition

The carving is in good condition. It should be noted that the stone is of slightly darker tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
