Description

  • gilt bronze
cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the hands folded in dhyanamudra, dressed in a dhoti and embellished with beaded jewels, the face with a meditative expression, the hair piled up into a high chignon under a five-leaf diadem; together with a smaller gilt-bronze figure of Amitayus

Condition

Both figures in very good condition with the exception of minor dents and casting flaws, rubbing to the gilding especially at the extremities. The larger figure with base sealed and the smaller figure unsealed.
