Description

  • bronze
cast seated in dhyanasana on a rounded triangular base, the hands folded in dhyanamudra, dressed in a dhoti draped over the left shoulder, embellished with beaded jewellery, the face with a meditative expression, the hair piled up in a high chignon

Condition

The unsealed base incised with Sanskrit inscription. Apart from minor casting flaws, small dents, scratches, and rubbing to the gilding, the figure is in very good condition.
