each with rounded sides rising from a short foot to a gently flared rim, covered overall in a thin and translucent green glaze, the white base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle

Collection of Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Dingwall DSO (1869-1946).
Thence by descent to the present owner. 

Condition

The one bowl has seven hairline rim cracks (varying in length between 1-3cm), rim fritting and two areas of glaze loss to the exterior lower body (1 x 0.5 and 1.5 x 1cm); the other bowl has seven hairline rim cracks (varying in length from 0.5 - 2.5cm.), a small rim; and minor glaze firing imperfections including iron-spots, kiln grit and light glaze scratches to both bowls.
