Description

  • gilt bronze
the three-headed deity seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base in front of a mandorla, the eight arms held in various mudras and supporting various attributes, dressed in a dhoti richly festooned with elaborate jewellery, the hair piled up into a high chignon crowned with a tiara

Condition

The mandorla appears to be associated. Unsealed. The reverse of lotus stand incised with an inscription which appears to read: 'x30' and re-gilt. The attribute in the figure's primary left hand a later addition. Losses to semi-precious stone inlay.
