seated in dhyanasana, the left hand raised before the chest and the right arm lowered in varadamudra, each hand holding the end of a leafy lotus stalk rising to the shoulder supporting a vase and a bird, wearing a shawl and dhoti opening at the chest to reveal a beaded necklace, the borders incised at the hems with lotus, the face with a benevolent expression, crowned by an elaborate headdress surmounted by an Amitabha Buddha, wood stand

Condition
The figure with numerous chips along the underside of the base; a 12mm crack to reverse of the figure's left hand celestial scarf. Characteristic wear to the bronze surface, which has most likely benefitted from professional cleaning, with a dark chocolate brown patina.
