RARE. Only two copies recorded on Americana Exchange since 1963.
Australian-born Phillip Parker King, son of Philip Gidley King, governor of New South Wales, described as "the greatest of the early Australian marine surveyors" (Australian Dictionary of Biography, vol. 2, 1967) commanded the Adventure on her great surveying voyage with the Beagle. The expedition lasted from 1826-1830 and surveyed the coasts of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
RARE. Only two copies recorded on Americana Exchange since 1963.
