Presentation copy, inscribed "To the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty from the Editor". This copy was owned by the Earl of Sandwich, 1st Lord of the Admiralty.
The work contains information and accounts of the voyages of Edmond Halley (1698-1700), Ducloz Guyot de St. Malo (1753), Loziers Bouvet (1738-1739) and John McBride (1766-1767).
Presentation copy, inscribed "To the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty from the Editor". This copy was owned by the Earl of Sandwich, 1st Lord of the Admiralty.
