Catalogue Note

A fine collection of coloured plates of birds, fish, reptiles and shells encountered on Beechey's voyage to the Pacific (see lot 98). According to Hill apparently only a limited number of copies of this work were printed. It is uniformly bound with The Botany of Captain Beechey's Voyage (lot 100).
