Condition
The object is a fragment and, as such, there are uneven edges and various losses. There is a large loss to the top right back corner. There are further smaller losses to the edges and corners, in particular to the bottom edge and to the corner above the central palmette. The surface at the back and top is uneven. There is some staining to the surface, in particular to the top, back and to the right side of the decorative frieze. Part of the far left palmette is lost. Otherwise the condition is good overall with dirt and wear consistent with age.
