Catalogue Note

Bouhon Frères, also recorded under Bouhon et Cie, were prominent French bronziers specializing mostly in fine bronze decorated fire surrounds and fire-fittings, of which the present lot is a fine example. The firm participated in the 1878 and 1900 Paris Expositions Universelles.
