Condition
Both covers have extensive rubbing to the gilding on the finial and overall. One cover has the knop broken off at the base of the blue area and the upper red area and restored back on, issuing further haircracks. The same cover has multiple restored chips at the flange. The other cover has the finial of the knob restored. There is a restored area at the rim edge.
Both vases have some minor wear to the gilding. One vase has a haircrack running down the rim for approximately 3 inches and continuing horizontally in two directions completely around the base of the neck. The other vase has an extended firing crack running all the way around the rim of the vase. There is a long restored haircrack running from the base diagonally up the body and curving up the shoulder of the neck. The base is extensively restored and possibly replaced.
