signed J. Pascault, painted with a bust-length portrait of a young woman in Renaissance attire, impressed Motereau B&Cie mark. Together with two Continental earthenware portrait chargers, each signed C Pagés and painted with a bust-length portrait of a fashionably dressed young woman against a 'beaded' silver and gilt patterned ground.

Condition

The first with a minor shallow chip to the rim edge. Some chips and losses to the textured grounds of the second and third, visible in the catalogue illustration; a minor small chip and two restored chips to the rim edge of the charger with the woman in Spanish costume.
