decorated on either side of the bottle-shaped body with panels depicting nymphs and putti, above gilt-heightened molded panels of masks and strapwork, affixed on either side with an elaborate scroll-molded handle, all raised on a circular foot with molded decoration.

Condition

The vase is lacking its cover. There is some occasional wear to the gilding. There is an approximate 2-inch chip to the bottom of the neck, where it meets the body of the vase. There is another approximate 2 1/2-inch section on one scroll-molded handle, which has been broken and restored back. There is some chipping to the edges of the scroll-molded borders, satyr's masks and fishes along the body and base of the vase. One fish on the base has a small loss and another small chip near it.
