8vo, first edition, first issue, half-title, wood-engraved frontispiece and illustrations in the text after E.W. Kemble, 32pp. advertisements dated October 1884 at the end, original red pictorial cloth stamped in gilt and black, binding A, very minor wear to edges of binding but a near fine copy

The London edition was issued a few months prior to the American edition, although the title was deposited for copyright in America before the English publication. BAL accords priority to this stitched binding.
