quarter-length in a studio, vintage postcard  ("Valentine's XL Series"), with a Board of Trade envelope addressed to Miss Grace Rattray of 2 Melville Terrace, Dundee, post marked 9 May 1908, envelope frayed and soiled

This signed photograph seems to have been sent to a citizen of Dundee when Churchill was campaigning to become the city's MP in a 1908 by-election. Churchill went on to win the by-election later in May, and continued to represent Dundee until 1922.
