Provenance
The sportsman and politician William Henry Grenfell, Baron Desborough (1855–1945), armorial bookplate and library ticket with shelf-mark of the family home Taplow Court in Buckinghamshire. Grenfell was the father of the war poet Julian Henry Francis Grenfell and his younger brother, Gerald William (b. 1890), known as Billy, who were both killed in action in 1915.
