Catalogue Note

The classic Czech avant-garde photobook, the product of a performance of Nezval's letter poems which took place in April 1926, with moves by the dancer Milča Mayerová who displayed the forms of the letters with her body. The result was a masterful collaboration between the poet Nezval, the dancer Mayerová and the photographer Paspa, with the layout and typography designed by Karel Teige.
