Catalogue Note

Štyrský's photographs of the streets of Paris and Prague, taken around 1935, were first combined with Heisler's text in a limited edition in 1941 with the original photographs tipped in; this is the second edition.

The photograph is dated 1934 on the verso by Toyen, though the print dates from some time later.
