Condition
This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined. The surface retains a rich impasto. There is craquelure throughout with some scattered associated losses and lifting to the pigment, noted primarily in the white pigmented areas. There is some oil residue evident in the purple pigment, due to the artistÂ’s choice of medium. There is some light dust accumulation in the crevices of the impasto. Under Ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
