Condition

This work is in good condition overall. Some glue residue is visible surrounding the collaged element, which appears inherent to the artist's working method. There is stable craquelure throughout the white painted areas, resulting in some scattered paint loss, most notably along the left edge and surrounding the circular forms in the upper right quadrant. The surface colors are brighter than in the catalogue illustration. There appears to be a discoloration in the top half of the work, possibly the result of the artist's chosen medium. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
