Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the blue in the upper half of the composition is lighter and brighter and there is more contrast in the lower half of the composition in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals a tiny and unobtrusive split in the wood of the inner frame, which is likely to be inherent to the artist's choice of medium. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
