the demi lune top with a removable centre section to accommodate a papier-mâché coaster on a brass arm, the rear edge with two flaps
Condition
Overall in good condition. Refinished. Minor chip and loses to the papier mache coaster which is possibly associated.

Also known as 'social' tables, the present lot was intended to be used for after-dinner drinking when it could be drawn near a fireplace and the coaster attached to a hinged rod would circulate the liquor of choice.
