Description

comprising of three pairs of cushions, and six individual cushions, all incorporating flowers and foliage with the designs, except for one which depicts a young girl in a landscape with a basket of flowers, together with an English silk needlework and glass bead work tea-pot cover worked on both sides and incorporating the British Royal coat-of-arms (approx. 30cm. high, 48cm. wide; 11in., 7in.) Condition
Three pairs of cushions: (see back row and one on each side - of the on-line group image).
Six individual cushions: (see centre and front row of the on-line group image); the small vertical cushion with blue velvet flanking small fragment of 18th century tapestry with building, has some splits commensurate with age.
Measurements vary - largest: Pair - 70 by 56cm, and smallest are single cushions; 54 by 35cm & 48 by 30cm.
All backed and all in generally good condition overall. Some have zips with access to cushions within, others do not.
English silk needlework and glass bead work tea-pot cover, worked on both sides and incorporating the British Royal coat-of-arms, lower edge with yellow velvet and edged with twisted braid and applied with two tassels (approx. 30cm. high, 48cm. wide; 11in., 7in.); minor losses and some discolouration, otherwise in overall good condition.
