the moulded cornice above two panelled cupboard doors enclosing shelves and three drawers above two candle slides, the bureau enclosing a fitted interior comprising pigeon holes, six drawers, a central cupboard, two secret drawers and a well above four graduated drawers on bracket feet, the top and base possibly associated
Condition
Overall in good condition, good colour and patination. Characteristic age cracks to panels, right hand side moulding nailed back at a later date. Crack to hinges of flap, flap with patching to the middle. Ink stains to the well. Brasses and door handles to cupboard door later. Top and base possibly associated as stated in the catalogue. Marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
