Condition
The alabaster is a fragment from a larger scene. Otherwise the condition is relatively good with dirt and wear consistent with age. Large traces of the original polychromy survive, particularly to the face and torso. Elsewhere the polychromy has flaked and there is craquelure. There are some small chips, losses and abrasions, including to the crown of thorns.
