5ΒΌ-inch enamel chapter ring with concentric day and date, centre seconds, enamel subsidiary moon dial above, both dials with finely milled bezels, the substantial three train movement with high count trains, deadbeat escapement mounted on the backplate, gridiron pendulm with knife edge suspension and heavy lenticular bob, outside count wheel striking the hours on a bell and striking the quarters on two further bells, signed on the open frame Baguelin a Versailles, on a moulded black marble base with milled gilt feet; with a glazed cover

Condition

Enamel chapter ring in very good condition. Moon dial has minor hair cracks but otherwise good. Movement is complete and would just run at cataloguing but would benefit from a clean and fresh oil. Very minor chips to marble base but otherwise very good. Glass cover in good condition. With pendulum but no winder.
