Condition
This work is in completely untouched and original condition. It has never been cleaned or removed from its original stretcher. The canvas is well stretched. There are no paint losses or restorations. There are visible cracks in the heavier areas of pigment. These cracks are raised in some areas, but the paint layer is stable. Given the fact that the patina is original, the painting
could easily be hung in its current condition. (This condition report has been provided courtesy of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.)
