註：中國傳統繪畫取宗教題材者，釋道外，多為民間信仰中之神話傳說，舶來宗教極為少見，間有者，或見於民國時期，如北平陸鴻年則有以基督教人物入畫。本幅出自吳青霞手筆，或與其基督教背景有關，畫中採傳統構圖、筆法，以中國農村生活風貌，帶出〈路加福音〉中失羊之喻意。雖云「洋為中用」，惟轉化自然，畫面洋溢安和歡愉之氣氛，點出了主題「罪人悔改」之悅。畫上無年款，從題材、以至筆法工細纖巧，設色秀麗，風格清新，似屬四十年代所出，同期亦有錄聖經章節於扇面，以贈教會仝人。
