-Restoration could be found on the leaf with red flowers, where there appears to be paper loss. Foxing could be found on the leaf with purple flowers. Otherwise, generally in good condition.

註 ：一九二〇年初，陳師曾取宋人楊萬里詩意衍發為圖，成〈誠齋詩意圖〉十六開，裝幀成冊，送贈好友吳靜庵。題材乃花鳥草蟲十二、山水四，或水墨、或設色，其中「西湖遊」一開已佚，今存十五。

各開以寫意出之，用筆簡約，不尚修飾，寫花卉則鮮活自然，繪山水則蕭疏冷峻，詩意畫境契合，正是畫家胸中文人氣息之呈現。

本幅與該冊中四開構圖近，蓋源出同一詩句，惟設色較雅淡，運筆趨恣放，同中見異，正如畫家題曰「鐙下遣興」，與該冊耑首曰「聊為案頭供玩」，皆出自怡悅者，故應寫於相若時期，孰先孰後，一時難判。但本幅每開皆署款，有異於圖冊各開袛鈐印，僅耑首落款，故又可自成篇章，不能視為誠齋圖冊之複本也。
