Description
- jade
carved in low relief on one side with a large pine tree and a small wutong tree next to a pagoda, the background with large mountainous cliffs, the reverse carved with a low-relief inscription reading shanshui jingyin, all within a pair of confronting kui dragons on both sides, the upper centre pierced with an aperture between the dragons, the smoothly polished stone of even white colour with faint russet inclusions on one side
Condition
The overall condition is very good with traces of general surface wear as expected. There is a small yellowing patch/ calcified inclusion to one of the side edge of the pendant, visible on the upper left along on the side with an inscription (showing on the illustration in the catalogue). The actual colour is warmer, less grey compared to the catalogue illustration.
