A Rare Crystal Carving of a Ram Qing Dynasty, 18th Century

carved as a recumbent ram with its legs tucked beneath its body, its long, curved horns marked with prominent ridges, its beard, legs and spine detailed with fine incisions, the clear transparent stone finely streaked with needle inclusions and transmuting to a red amber colour towards the upper torso and the head, wood stand

There are a few scratches and minor nicks on both sides of the body. There is a minute chip to the left side of its head and to its right horn.
