- Bronze
wearing loose flowing robes seated on pierced rock base, with a snake and a turtle nestled in a niche in front, holding a sword in his right hand, the deep reddish brown bronze with traces of gold lacquer
Condition
The figure is overall in good condition, consistent with age and the type. There is some pitting and wear to the surface, consistent with age. The sword blade appears to be less corroded and is likely to be a later replacement. The figure use to be covered with gold lacquer with only traces of it now remaining.
