Description

  • Porcelain
the lobed body raised on a flaring foot, the straight neck opening to a wide rim, deftly incised with vertical lines dividing the nine lobes and further diagonal strokes skirting the foot, the neck encircled by three fillets, applied overall with a transparent glaze pooling to a darker tone in the recessed areas, save for the countersunk base left unglazed revealing the white body

Condition

The vase is in overall good condition. There is a minute flake on top of the mouth rim, some light occasional fritting on the underside, together with a few typical minor imperfections in the glaze. The actual colour is less yellow compared to the illustration in the catalogue.
