of globular form on a slightly flared footrim, surmounted by a slender tapered tubular neck rising from a rib encircling its base to a gently everted mouth rim, applied overall with a fine sage-green glaze mottled with clear sparkles

There is a small restored section, hardly perceptible, outside the mouthrim (approx 2 x 2 cm.) probably to conceal a chip. There is horizontal hairline in the glaze of approx 8.5 cm to the lower body, above the foot. There are some minor glaze mottling and light surface scratches. The actual colour is somewhat deeper celadon, less yellow when compared to the catalogue illustration.
