Description

  • Porcelain
of circular form with hexalobed rim, the interior deftly carved in delicately incised lines with a lotus scroll, supported on a neatly cut short circular foot, applied overall with an ivory-tinged glaze with characteristic teardrops, the rim left unglazed in the firing

Condition

The bowl is in very good overall condition. There are some minor typical abrasion to the rim and and occasional black speckles to the glaze (showing on the illustration in the catalogue).
