Description

  • Porcelain
of conical form, with shallow rounded sides rising to a flared rim, supported on a narrow foot, crisply moulded on the interior with a lush peony blossom among densely sprouting foliage, the petals and the leaves naturalistically detailed with incisions, all covered with an olive-green glaze pooling to a deeper tone in the recessed areas, the base and footing left unglazed revealing a light grey ware

Condition

The bowl is in good overall condition. There are some expected imperfections in the glaze, including minute iron spots, light pitting or minor abrasion under the rim.
