Condition
The board appears generally sound, some isolated areas of craquelure visible upon close inspection.
Ultraviolet light reveals a large horizontal and vertical line of retouching in the upper right corner. Another staggered horizontal line of retouching through centre of composition. Further areas of retouching along the edge, to the rock near centre of right edge and a few further smaller, isolated spots.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
